Our story

When starting our business we knew we wanted to be different from the usual mainstream estate and lettings agents available, and bring a unique, fresh approach to the property industry. We wanted this perspective to be reflected in the name of our business which was born from our motivation to find the right home for the right person, helping to make it their most valuable asset, their ‘Righthaus’.

Our story started in a small room with a single desk and chair, managing properties for friends and family. Although coming from humble beginnings, we had (and still have) big ambitions, and from our cosy setting we experienced many aspects of the property industry – including the purchase of our own property development project, purchased at auction. The property industry can be challenging at times, but through our love of property and seeing the smile on a client’s face when we complete a sale or letting, it’s also very rewarding to us.

As a growing business, 2020 saw our own move, and we opened the doors to our first office in Wibsey. Through commitment and dedication to our clients, the communities we serve and the property industry as a whole we continue to go from strength to strength, and our vision for the future is to achieve a reputation for being ‘the people’s estate agent’, and provide the very best service.

Amanpreet Pandit

Managing Director

As Managing Director, Amanpreet Pandit is at the heart of this family-run business. Her role is to ensure Righthaus is delivering its promise of an exceptional service, which she believes all Righthaus’ clients deserve. With over 20 years experience in the property industry, Amanpreet has acquired extensive knowledge and expertise. She applies this proficiency to guide the Righthaus team, and ensures all objectives are achieved. The team’s committed and dedicated approach is testament to Amanpreet’s insights and her valuable contribution to both the industry and this client-focused business.

Outside of Righthaus, Amanpreet is a dedicated wife, and mum of two. In her spare time she enjoys long walks in tranquil surroundings where she can take the time to unwind and relax.

Michael Brownsett

Area Sales Manager

Michael is CELA qualified and has over 15 years experience in property. He has been a key member of the Righthaus team from the very beginning, implementing his industry knowledge and skills to ensure our sales division is successful. Michael understands the importance of client relations and his welcoming manner enables him to make positive connections. Michael’s tech insight is a valuable tool here at Righthaus as he is keen to embrace emerging technologies, and use new and innovative techniques to enhance our services. 

Michael lives in Wibsey with his spouse and two children, which also benefits our clients as he can share his knowledge of the area on a personal level. In his spare time Michael enjoys football, and he is a proud Bradford City fan. He also lends his time to a local football club, coaching and managing an under-10’s team. His passion for all things tech extends to his pastimes as he enjoys building PCs. 

Maariyah Akel

Area Lettings Manager

With over 10 years of industry experience, and ARLA qualifications, Maariyah is a great asset to Righthaus. It seems that Maariyah’s interest in property is skin-deep, having been exposed to the industry from an early age with her family possessing their own impressive portfolio. She has been with Righthaus since opening our office. It was inevitable that she would work in Lettings, and her knowledge and skills in this area enable her to make trusted, long-lasting relationships with our Landlords. 

Like many of the Righthaus team, family is important. Maariyah is recently married, and when she’s not helping Landlords let property, she’ll be spending time with her nephews and the rest of the family.   

Josie Dunne

Sales Progressor & Consultant

With over 40 years experience, Josie is Righthaus’ resident fountain of property selling knowledge. She’s been involved in the completion of many property sales during her time in the industry, so there’s nothing she can’t share with us and our clients. Josie is one of our most valuable sales consultants, whose passion for helping buyers and sellers through their sales journey is clear to see. Josie has developed many skills, and she has a particular quality that puts our clients at ease, leaving them to enjoy the process. 

Josie is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lives in the village of Wibsey. Outside of Righthaus she enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, as well as going for afternoon tea with friends.
